Promising Results: Lucid-MS Demonstrates Safety and Tolerance in Healthy Volunteers
FSD Pharma's oral treatment candidate, Lucid-MS, has been found to be safe and well tolerated in healthy volunteers in a Phase 1 clinical trial for multiple sclerosis (MS). The interim data from the trial showed that Lucid-MS was safe and well tolerated across multiple doses, with encouraging pharmacological properties. Lucid-MS aims to prevent or repair myelin damage without interfering with the immune system, potentially offering a novel treatment option for all types of MS, including progressive forms. The final data from the trial are expected by the end of the month.
