Nikki Hiltz reacts as Supreme Court upholds biology-based eligibility in girls’ sports
The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that states may bar transgender student-athletes from girls’ sports by requiring competition based on biological sex at birth, a decision Nikki Hiltz—who identifies as transgender nonbinary—called disappointing but affirming that trans people belong in sport; the ruling, part of West Virginia v.
