BBC footage ties 9/11 suspect to Saudi officials and al-Awlaki
BBC Panorama and Radio 4 publish new videos and documents in the 9/11 families’ lawsuit against Saudi Arabia, showing Omar al-Bayoumi had extensive links to Saudi officials and met Anwar al-Awlaki, including a paintballing session near San Diego; a plane-descent diagram found among his possessions was circulated to the FBI and UK police but not fully pursued or shared with investigators, and Bayoumi was never charged. The material was not all disclosed to the 9/11 Commission, raising questions about Saudi involvement and why prosecutors did not pursue charges.
