Internet sensation Tucker Budzyn dies at 8 after sudden lymphoma complications
Tucker Budzyn, the Michigan-based golden retriever with 27 million social media followers, died on September 2 at age 8. His owner, Courtney Budzyn, announced his passing on Saturday, less than a week after revealing his lymphoma diagnosis. Tucker had entered partial remission after one week of chemotherapy but suffered a sudden, fatal intestinal infection. The dog, adopted in 2018, was a viral star known for clips of him playing with ice cubes and hair clips. Budzyn stated that Tucker 'saved her life' and that his death felt like losing a body part.
