Vietnamese police detained the speedboat captain after a capsize off Hon May Rut Ngoai near Phu Quoc that killed 15 Indian tourists; the vessel carrying 32 Indian guests and four Vietnamese crew overturned soon after departure as rescue was hampered by rough seas, with 16 survivors discharged and bodies being repatriated. The captain, 57-year-old Nguyen Hong Hai, is under investigation for alleged waterway-safety violations, and the trip was organized by Lava International.
