General Mills pulls Pillsbury rolls from Walmart shelves over glass risk
General Mills has recalled more than 730,000 Pillsbury rolls sold to Walmart after a potential glass fragment was found in the dough. The voluntary recall, posted with the FDA, covers Pillsbury Bread Rolls Hard Roll Dough and Kaiser Roll Dough distributed to Walmart in-store bakeries across 19 states, with best-by dates of Oct 12, 2026, and all affected product has been removed from shelves. The FDA classifies the recall as Class II, meaning exposure could cause temporary or reversible health effects but serious harm is unlikely.
