Sony Pulls Publisher Deal from Ternox, 14 Indie Titles to Drop
Sony has reportedly unilaterally terminated Ternox Games’ PlayStation publishing agreement, forcing the removal of 14 indie titles—including STONKS-9800—from the PlayStation Store by August 23; the developer says they’ve received no explanation and will no longer be able to self-publish on PS. The move comes amid ongoing PS Store crackdowns on shovelware, but Sony has not commented. Ternox plans to pursue PC and Switch physical editions for some titles, and hoped for a PS5 release in 2027, which is now canceled for PlayStation.
