Xiaomi hikes prices on 11 devices as memory costs become unsustainable
Xiaomi is raising prices on 11 smartphones and tablets by up to ¥20,000 starting in September, citing a memory cost crisis it can no longer absorb. The Xiaomi 17T Pro and POCO X8 Pro models face the steepest increases, with some configurations becoming over 30% more expensive. The move follows a year of industry-wide price hikes driven by soaring RAM and component costs.
