American Airlines will open a 3,700-square-foot grab-and-go lounge called Provisions at New York’s JFK Terminal 8 by year-end, its first new facility at the airport in over four years. The lounge will offer a barista bar and hot and cold grab-and-go foods, targeting high-spending customers and helping avoid crowding in flagship lounges as airlines expand short-visit spaces to compete for premium travelers.
