CNN Investigation Reveals Bo French’s Six-Year History of Calling for Public Executions
CNN’s KFile team found that Texas Railroad Commission candidate Bo French repeatedly called for the public execution of political opponents, including former President Barack Obama and Senator Adam Schiff, in social media posts spanning six years. The posts, which used hashtags like #HangEmHigh, were deleted or removed from X, but the investigation highlights a pattern of extreme rhetoric. French, who won the Republican nomination in May despite opposition from Governor Greg Abbott and other party leaders, faces intense scrutiny as the November election approaches. His campaign has not responded to requests for comment, and major Texas Republicans have refused to disavow him despite his controversial history.
