Mandalorian and Grogu Movie Sparks Split Reviews
Critics are divided on The Mandalorian and Grogu: some hail it as a thrilling, fun summer blockbuster with big battles and Grogu moments, praising the score and the carefree vibe; others call it emotionless and dull, an expanded TV-style chapter that doesn’t push Din Djarin forward and feels like a colorless, made-for-TV movie. The film, directed by Jon Favreau with Pedro Pascal and Sigourney Weaver, marks Star Wars’ big-screen return and is the first theatrical release under new Lucasfilm bosses Filoni and Brennan, opening May 22.
