Commanders land Chaisson on one-year deal after breakout Patriots season
Washington Commanders signed former Patriots edge rusher K’Lavon Chaisson to a one-year deal after his breakout 2025 season in New England, where he posted a career-high 7.5 sacks and 59 pressures (including 20 in four playoff games). Chaisson, 26, had limited production with the Jaguars and spent 2024 with the Raiders; he’s a speed-focused edge rusher who is undersized for run defense, making him a pass-rushing addition for Washington.
