Poland Escalates School Security After Third Attack in a Week
A third school attack in Poland occurred on Saturday in Warsaw, where a 21-year-old woman injured three people using a dangerous object. This incident follows two earlier attacks in the Mazovian province: a 19-year-old wounded nine people on Wednesday, and a 15-year-old killed a caretaker and injured two others on Thursday. In response, Polish authorities detained 76 individuals and inspected nearly 50,000 schools nationwide. Prime Minister Donald Tusk cited a 'grim phenomenon of imitation' and online violence, while authorities confirmed no evidence of coordinated attacks or active internet challenges. Security measures, including backpack checks and crisis training, will continue, and the government is pursuing legislation to block harmful online content.
