Seiko Unveils One-Off Star Time to Honor Ohtani Anniversary
Seiko created a unique mechanical watch called Star Time to celebrate Shohei Ohtani’s 10-year ambassador anniversary in Japan. The timepiece uses five rotating discs to cumulatively track time up to one million hours (about 114 years) with a current-time display on the innermost disc, housed in a titanium case with a blue display and diamonds on each disc. It features a redesigned movement, sapphire crystal, and 10-bar water resistance, and is a single, non-production piece made specifically for Ohtani.
