Pro Football Hall of Fame Overhauls Voting Rules to Address Belichick Snub

The Pro Football Hall of Fame has announced seven major changes to its election process, effective for the Class of 2027, following the controversial omission of Bill Belichick from the 2026 class. Key reforms include reducing the selection committee from 50 to 28 members, eliminating the separate 'seniors' category, and merging all eligible players into a single pool. The changes aim to remove 'unintended biases' and ensure a more merit-based selection process.

"2024 NCAA Tournament Bracketology: Arizona Claims No. 1 Seed, UNC Slips in NET Rankings"

Arizona moves up to a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament projections after Tennessee falls to the second line, while Richmond and South Florida are bid stealers in the latest bracket. The NCAA Tournament selection process evaluates teams based on who they played, where they played, who they beat, and who beat them, with margin of victory not being a factor. Various rankings like the NET and KenPom.com heavily rely on margin of victory but are not used to make decisions. Conference performance and past tournament performance are considered irrelevant in the selection process.
