Patriots Finalize Roster with Zylstra Signing and Rookie Waivers

The New England Patriots finalized their 2026 roster by signing tight end Shane Zylstra to the practice squad and waiving injured rookies Eric Butler and Jimmy Kibble. These moves followed a series of earlier transactions, including the re-signing of center Ben Brown and the addition of linebacker Erick Hunter to the active roster. The team also claimed tight end Cameron Latu and linebacker Darius Muasau off waivers while placing punter Bryce Baringer and linebacker Khalil Jacobs on injured reserve. These adjustments solidify the 53-man roster ahead of the regular season, with Zylstra joining as a veteran depth option after being released by the Buffalo Bills in late August.
