Boston and Glasgow chart a transatlantic sister-city partnership for next year
Boston Mayor Michelle Wu signed a letter of intent to establish Boston and Glasgow as sister cities next year, aiming to deepen a transatlantic partnership beyond this year’s World Cup. Over the coming year, city leaders will finalize joint initiatives in areas like innovation, higher education, climate, and arts, with Glasgow’s Lord Provost visiting Boston in April for “Tartan Day” to formalize the agreement.
