Five planets, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Uranus, will align in a rare spectacle visible to the naked eye on Monday, accompanied by the moon and a possible star cluster. However, the viewing window is only about 25 to 30 minutes, and the planets will be so close to the horizon that any structure or sightline glitch could obscure them. Meanwhile, a massive asteroid the size of a skyscraper, 2023 DZ2, will whiz by Earth inside the moon’s orbit on Saturday, though it will not come anywhere near that close.
