Springfield Sparks a New Chapter in Women's Pro Baseball
Springfield, Illinois hosted the inaugural weekend of the Women's Pro Baseball League (WPBL), featuring four teams — the Queens, Heights, Boston Hunters and San Francisco Firebells — as a sold-out Robin Roberts Stadium welcomed fans from across the U.S. and abroad for a six-week season.
