Two-year-old Ethiopian twins Hiyab and Wuhbto, born conjoined at the head, were successfully separated in a 25-hour surgery at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis. The girls, who had been joined in a rare craniopagus condition, are now undergoing rehabilitation in Missouri and are expected to return to Ethiopia soon.
