"Spacewalking Astronauts Capture Stunning View of ISS Crossing Sunspots"
Astrophotographer Thierry Legault captured stunning images of the International Space Station (ISS) transiting the Sun while two astronauts were doing a spacewalk. The ISS passed by three enormous sunspots, and Legault was able to capture the event with ultimate precision using a CFF200 apo refractor, Baader Herschel wedge, Olympus OM-1 at 1/32000s, and a GPS trigger. The transit lasted less than a second and was shown in slow motion on Facebook. Legault's previous astrophotography feats include capturing spy satellites in orbit and snapping pictures of the ISS transiting the Sun during a solar eclipse.
