California’s Michelin Elite Grows to 10 Three-Star Restaurants in 2026
Michelin’s 2026 California guide adds two new 3-star restaurants—Californios in San Francisco (the first Mexican restaurant to earn three stars) and Enclos in Sonoma—bringing the state’s total to 10 three-star eateries, the most in the U.S. The lineup also includes Atelier Crenn, Benu, The French Laundry, Addison, Providence, Quince, SingleThread and Somni, with Providence and Somni having joined the three-star club in 2025 after Michelin expanded California coverage.
