
Night Paddle on Tomales Bay Ends in Two Deaths, San Francisco Man Identified
Two canoeists on an overnight trip were found dead after a late-night paddle on Tomales Bay in Marin County, California. One victim has been identified as 36-year-old Casey Flynn Melia of San Francisco; the identity of the second canoeist has not been released. The Coast Guard and National Park Service recovered the bodies and are assisting Marin County authorities in a joint investigation.
