
Five Tornadoes Strike Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma, Causing Widespread Damage
Five tornadoes were confirmed by the National Weather Service in the Tulsa metro and eastern Oklahoma areas, with widespread damage across north Tulsa including a roof blown off Tulsa Tech's Peoria Campus, uprooted trees, blown traffic signs, and power lines down. The NWS recorded tornado reports in Creek, Tulsa, Okfuskee, Rogers, and Okmulgee counties as storms continue to impact Green Country; authorities expect damage surveys in the coming days.
