Thanksgiving in Space: Astronauts Celebrate with Turkey Socks and Spectacular Earth Views
NASA astronaut Loral O'Hara celebrated Thanksgiving on the International Space Station (ISS) by wearing turkey-themed socks and sharing pictures of them floating around the ISS. The crew enjoyed holiday treats and relaxed on their day off, while O'Hara also showed off the socks in front of the cupola window and in the Japanese Kibo module. O'Hara did not specify which cargo ship the socks arrived on, but it was likely the SpaceX cargo Dragon spacecraft.
