"Thanksgiving in Space: Astronaut's Turkey Socks and Stunning Earth Views"

NASA astronaut Loral O'Hara celebrated Thanksgiving on the International Space Station (ISS) by donning turkey socks and sharing pictures of her "turkey feet" floating around the ISS. The crew enjoyed holiday treats and relaxation, while O'Hara also conducted materials experiments and showcased the socks in various modules of the ISS. The socks were likely delivered by the SpaceX cargo Dragon spacecraft, which docked with the ISS on November 11. O'Hara arrived at the ISS in September via a Russian Soyuz spacecraft. The ISS Expedition 70 crew also includes astronauts from the European Space Agency, NASA, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, and Roscosmos.
