Nepal escalates relief drive after glacier-triggered floods devastate border region
Nepal is accelerating relief and recovery after a Himalayan flash flood along the Nepal-Tibet border, likely caused by glacial collapse, that has killed over 1,100 and left around 4,000 missing. About 12,000 people have been rescued, while thousands remain displaced in shelters as responders tackle destroyed bridges and difficult access.
