SpaceX shatters its own record with back-to-back Falcon 9 launches, 38 minutes apart
SpaceX set a new record for the shortest time between orbital flights by firing two Falcon 9 rockets 38 minutes apart: the first liftoff from Cape Canaveral carried eight Globalstar satellites, and the second from Vandenberg carried the U.S. Space Force’s USSF-366 payload (classified). Both boosters landed successfully—Globalstar’s at Cape Canaveral and the USSF-366 booster on the droneship 'Of Course I Still Love You'—raising SpaceX’s 2026 Falcon 9 launch count to 96, with the majority of missions continuing to be Starlink deployments.
