
SoundHound AI Delivers 52% Q1 Revenue Gain as AI Demand Persists, but SOUN Drops After Hours
SoundHound AI reported Q1 FY2026 revenue of $44.2 million, up 52% year-over-year and beating expectations of $42.56 million, driven by strong demand for its voice and agentic AI across automotive, IoT, enterprise, and consumer markets. Excluding acquisitions, revenue in the core automotive and IoT vertical rose 88%. The company posted a per-share loss of $0.06, narrower than the consensus $0.10 loss, and finished the quarter with $216 million in cash and no debt.
