Raman Rises to No. 2 in L.A. Mayor Race as Bass Maintains Lead
Nithya Raman has overtaken Spencer Pratt for the No. 2 spot in the Los Angeles mayoral race behind incumbent Karen Bass, with Raman at 196,198 votes (27.12%), Pratt at 193,085 (26.69%), and Bass leading with 250,871 votes (34.68%). With thousands more ballots yet to be counted, the outcome remains unsettled and could prompt a recount; Pratt has hinted he may relocate if he finishes second, and federal probing of California’s vote counting adds to the uncertainty, while Raman expresses cautious optimism about the latest results.
