Xbox is refreshing its Achievements with a visual overhaul, updated unlock icons/animations, customizable notifications, a new highlight for 100% completions (with sorting), and an option to hide games from the Achievements list. The changes roll out to Xbox Insider members today and are headed for all users later this year, with more updates teased for 2026.
Microsoft's Xbox Insider Update March 2026 adds fan-requested personalization features: expanded Home groups (up to 10 groups with easier rearrangement and pinning), Custom Colors for the Guide with hue/saturation/lightness controls and saved preferences, a per-game Quick Resume option to disable it for individual titles, and profile badges visible in the Guide. The changes are rolling out to Insiders who began testing them two weeks ago, with a broader public rollout planned and ongoing feedback encouraged.
Microsoft has reintroduced a helpful Xbox Game Pass feature for Alpha Skip-Ahead users, which displays a reminder when launching a game leaving the service and offers an option to purchase it. Additionally, library filter improvements have been made, allowing users to filter games by accessibility options, supported languages, and technical capabilities, with updated subscription tabs to sort by recently added games. These changes are currently available to Alpha Skip-Ahead Insiders and are expected to roll out to all Xbox users soon.
