McDonald's Revamps Burger Recipes with Subtle Changes and More Cheese and Sauce

McDonald's is making subtle changes to its flagship burgers, including the Big Mac, McDouble, double cheeseburger, cheeseburger, and hamburger, to make them "hotter, juicier and tastier." The changes include softer buns, more melted cheese, caramelized flavor from adding white onions to the patties, and more Mac Sauce per Big Mac. The burger changes will be gradually implemented and will first be rolled out in Western cities before being available nationwide by 2024. McDonald's has previously tweaked its recipes, including using fresh beef for the Quarter Pounder with Cheese and releasing the McCrispy chicken sandwich.
