Merck's Keytruda and TIGIT combo falls short in lung cancer study.

Merck's combination therapy of Keytruda and TIGIT failed to improve progression-free survival odds in a Phase II study for metastatic non-small cell lung cancer and was less effective than chemotherapy. Novartis' Tafinlar/Mekinist combo has been approved by the FDA for the treatment of low-grade glioma with a BRAF V600E mutation in children aged one year and up. The FDA's Antimicrobial Drugs Advisory Committee voted in favor of Pfizer's Covid-19 pill Paxlovid, with a decision expected in May 2023.
