Trump Chooses Billionaire Space Enthusiast to Lead NASA

President-elect Donald Trump has nominated tech billionaire Jared Isaacman, known for his collaboration with SpaceX and private spaceflights, to lead NASA. Isaacman, who has strong ties to Alabama's space program and has donated $10 million to the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, would replace Bill Nelson if confirmed. Under Nelson, NASA advanced its Artemis program to return astronauts to the moon, relying heavily on SpaceX for lunar missions. Isaacman, a self-described 'space geek,' has reserved additional flights with SpaceX, including a Starship mission.
