Impending Severe Storms Expected in Wisconsin

The National Weather Service has issued a warning for potential severe thunderstorms in east-central and southeast Wisconsin on Wednesday afternoon. While most of the state could experience stormy weather, the greatest risk for severe storms is in the area from Madison to Green Bay, including Milwaukee, Appleton, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Oshkosh, and Fond du Lac. The storms, if they turn severe, are expected to be isolated with the possibility of high winds, hail, and heavy rain. Following the storm, a cold front will bring less humid conditions and lower temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s.
