Another round of heavy rain is expected to move into Massachusetts and New England at the end of the week, with StormTeam 5 Chief Meteorologist Cindy Fitzgibbon labeling Friday as an Impact Weather Day. The system, currently causing severe weather along the Gulf of Mexico coast, could bring another inch of rain to most of the area, with higher amounts near an inch and a half to southeastern Massachusetts.
