Oklahoma hit by severe storms, thousands left without power.

Public Service Co. of Oklahoma has provided an estimated power restoration time for residents in the Tulsa area, with most customers expected to have power restored by 5 p.m. Saturday. A heat advisory is in effect through 9 p.m. Monday, with high temperatures expected to surpass 93 degrees. Nearly 40 city crews are clearing Tulsa’s main streets, and officials urge Tulsans to stay off the roads and stay home if able to do so. The City of Tulsa mulch site is closed due to downed power lines, and parks facilities are being inspected for damage.
