Severe storms and scorching heat forecasted for Philadelphia, Allentown, Baltimore, and Northampton County

Monday in Philadelphia is expected to be very hot and humid with highs in the 90s, along with the possibility of scattered severe storms in the afternoon. Several counties in Pennsylvania and Delaware were placed under tornado warnings on Sunday, with reports of a tornado touching down in Chester County. The storm system will continue into Monday, bringing another round of storms in the afternoon. Tuesday will see improved conditions with more sunshine and temperatures near 90 degrees.
