Severe storms threaten multiple states this weekend.

A cold front moving across the heartland into the eastern half of the US could bring rounds of showers and thunderstorms through the weekend, with some becoming strong to severe. Storm-ravaged Little Rock, Arkansas, is at risk of large hail and damaging winds on Saturday, with a lower risk of tornadoes. Temperatures will reach the 70s and 80s before the storms make it into the Mississippi Valley. The cold front is expected to continue its eastward trek on Sunday and produce showers and thunderstorms from the Great Lakes to the Gulf Coast.
