Severe Storms Threaten North Carolina and Georgia This Week.

Central North Carolina is at a level 2 risk for severe storms, with the biggest threat being damaging winds and hail. An isolated tornado is possible but unlikely. The northwest part of the viewing area, including Orange, Durham, Granville, Vance, and Person counties, is most at risk. Tuesday will start cloudy with a shower in spots, while Wednesday will bring a mix of clouds and sunshine with temperatures around 80 degrees. Thursday and Friday will see partly cloudy skies with temperatures in the 70s.
