Severe weather threatens millions across Southeast and Plains over Father's Day weekend.

Severe weather threats are expected to affect around 36 million people across the Plains and Southeast regions of the US over the Father's Day weekend. The greatest risk is in Oklahoma and southwestern Kansas, where a level 3 out of 5 risk has been issued. Damaging wind gusts and hail are the primary threats, but isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out. The severe weather threat will continue on Sunday and Sunday night for about 10 million people across the lower Mississippi Valley.
