Sierra Thunderstorms and Clear Skies Expected in Northern California

Northern California will experience partly cloudy to mostly clear skies in the morning, with temperatures warming up to the mid-80s in the afternoon. The Sierra region may experience thunderstorms capable of producing heavy rain and hail, primarily above 4,000 feet. The southern Sierra will have a better chance of rain on Thursday. High pressure will build in on Friday, leading to warmer temperatures in the low 90s over the weekend.
