Stormy Week Ahead for Texas with Possible Hail and Tornadoes

Severe thunderstorms could hit Central Texas on Tuesday and Wednesday, bringing hail, strong winds, and isolated tornadoes. Nearly all of Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop, Burnet, and Caldwell counties are at a slight risk for severe storms. Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 76 degrees on Tuesday and 81 degrees on Wednesday. Austin seems to only be at a marginal risk of being hit by severe storms. Drought conditions could likely see continued improvement throughout the region, as May is historically the wettest month in Central Texas.
