Tornado Watch for Northeastern Counties as Fast-Moving Storms Move East

A cold front brought storm chances to parts of North Texas on Wednesday morning, with some storms potentially being severe with a threat for damaging winds and hail. The worst of the weather will primarily be east of Interstate 35, with an enhanced risk for tornadic development. A tornado watch is in effect until noon for counties north and east of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Cooler weather will push in behind the front on Wednesday afternoon, but there will be a good deal of sunshine.
