Tropical Storm Arlene weakens to depression, Florida to expect rain.

Tropical Storm Arlene weakened to a tropical depression and is expected to become a remnant low later today, according to the National Hurricane Center. While Arlene won't directly impact Florida, rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches with localized higher amounts up to 5 inches are possible through Saturday across portions of the central and southern Florida Peninsula. Arlene is the first named storm of the year.
