Tropical Storm Harold's Remnants Bring Rain to New Mexico and Arizona

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are moving through southern and central New Mexico, with heavy, widespread rain expected across the south and west parts of the state. A flood watch is in effect for certain areas, including the Sacramento Mountains, due to the possibility of burn scar flooding. Flash flooding is also possible in other regions. Showers and storms will be more hit or miss in the Metro, northern New Mexico, and the east plains, while the northeast highlands and east-central plains will stay dry and partly sunny. Cooler temperatures are expected in areas with clouds and rain.
