Utah Braces for Massive Winter Storm with Up to 5 Feet of Snow Forecasted.

A winter storm is expected to hit Utah until at least Tuesday, with snow showers already making their mark on Sunday night. The storm is expected to last through early Wednesday for most of northern Utah, central Utah, and as far south as Cedar City. Winter Storm Warnings are in effect for the majority of the state, with a lot of snow expected over the next few days. Rocky Mountain Power reports they are preparing for possible outages across the state and into southern Wyoming. Both Little and Big Cottonwood canyons closed overnight for avalanche mitigation.
