Weather Update: Early End to Heavy Rains, Showers and Storms Expected

Heavy rains and thunderstorms are expected to end early tonight as a slow-moving cold front moves out of the region. Some areas have experienced flash flooding, but the storms will clear out before midnight. Monday will see some afternoon clearing with a chance of scattered thundershowers. Tuesday and Wednesday will be dry with temperatures climbing into the upper 80s and lower 90s. Thursday will be hot and humid with the possibility of more showers and storms as another cold front approaches.
