"Discovery of a Potential Earthlike Planet in the Kuiper Belt Raises Excitement"

Japanese researchers have suggested the existence of an Earthlike planet in the distant Kuiper Belt, beyond 50 AU from the sun. Using an N-body simulation, they found that the unusual behaviors observed in objects in the distant Kuiper Belt could be explained by the gravitational influence of an Earth-sized planet with a mass 1.5 to 3 times that of Earth. This hypothetical planet could also generate new populations of trans-Neptunian objects beyond 150 AU, providing testable evidence for its existence. The researchers emphasize that this planet is different from the previously proposed Planet Nine and is not related to doomsday theories about Nibiru.
