Final Supermoon Illuminates New York State

The last Supermoon of the year will shine over New York State on September 29, marking this year's Harvest Moon. This Supermoon will be the closest, biggest, and brightest full supermoon until 2023. Supermoons occur when the Earth aligns with the Moon and Sun, resulting in a slightly bigger and brighter full moon. After this event, the next Supermoon won't happen until September 18, 2024.
